What's new in Arborist Equipment?

A rake !  Our rake design attaches to standard wood or fiberglass extension pole you already own. The 1 1/4 " male ferrule, we made, is all aluminum and fits most commercially available extension poles. It attaches and detaches just like your Big Shot, saw or pruning head does. Store it in small lockers or even behind the seat. You can finally have a rake that isn't in the way, or snagging other tools going in and out of those big tool storage lockers.

Because you attach it to extension poles, the ergonomics are improved, extension poles are 1.25", much larger diameter than a standard rake and allow the users hand to be in a more relaxed open position generating less hand fatigue.

The design affords a longer reach than standard rake handles too. Now you can rake a larger area, reach under low obstacles, up and down hills and into areas you would rather not stand.

Beaver Rake "The Original"

Our design will make you like your rake! After years working in the tree care industry I developed this rake for myself in 2007. This is the original extension pole rake attachment. Your extension pole is the handle, longer reach and better more ergonomic grip for your hand.  The heavy duty 24" spring back rake works great on tree work debris. Disconnected from your extension pole it stores easily.  (Extension Pole not included)

Winthrop

The Winthrop is named after one our early customers, a working Arborist in Massachusetts, he wanted one of our spring back attachment rakes in an 18" version.

Here is his reasoning, "I prefer the 18" as I find it performs better and lasts longer than a wider rake. also, I find fewer teeth result in less stress on the rake (bolts, spring, tines, and handle itself especially you when dealing with larger material on thatched lawn. Long story short I prefer a narrower rake and more easy lighter strokes. Man, I feel like I'm writing a corn article here... " Winthrop Barrett
